This two-day Canadian conference focused on the electrical safety standards and expectations across Canada and features only Canadian presenters and tutorial instructors who are involved in the industry. IEEE ESW in Reno a Huge Success

What you need to know!

Do you have questions about the electrical hazards of arc flash and shock?   Have you heard of and do you use the CSA Z462 Workplace electrical safety Standard in your workplace when you complete energized electrical work tasks?  Have you taken “arc flash” training and have concerns about what the trainer said about arc flash?  Do you have and use rubber insulating gloves with leather protectors for shock protection?  Do you know when you should use them?

New in the CSA Z462, 3rd Edition 2015 is the requirement for a Risk Assessment Procedure and completing an Arc Flash & Shock Risk Assessment.  The existing Hazard/risk Category Table Method is now updated to an Arc Flash Hazard Identification and Arc Flash PPE Category Table Method.   You will learn more about these two significant changes and how they impact the use of the CSA Z462 Workplace electrical safety Standard in your workplace.
